"Heart of Summer" by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography

It's hard to believe that June has already flown by and that the July 4th holiday is already behind us!

That's what I love about photography - it encourages me to pause and pay close attention to the details around me. I could spend 30 minutes pondering the beauty of one single wildflower! May you find many beautiful moments to ponder this week.

“That beautiful season the Summer! Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.” - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Their friends coined the term "Asian Efficiency" after observing how fast they finished incredible amounts of work – all in a short time frame, and without any stress. In this article, they explore how to be productive without burning out.

I love the sensory delights and the many healing aspects of lavender! This year I plan to add my own lavender patch in the garden, so that I can take full advantage of this versatile plant. This article, adapted with permission from the book Weekend Wonder Detox by Michelle Schoffro Cook, is a good way to get started if you would like to grow and use your own lavender.
