with the most limited means."

~ Heinrich Heine

GROUNDCHERRY POD

"What dreams lie dormant hidden in the womb of your soul, quietly waiting, incubating, seeking opportunity to come forth?"

~ Stella Payton

DRIED BEE BALM (MONARDA)

"Little moments can have a feeling and a texture that is very real." ~ Ralph Fiennes

ROCK PILE “A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.”

~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

COMMON MILKWEED POD

Interesting fact: The fluffy contents of the milkweed seed pods were used by early settlers to stuff mattresses and pillows, and during World Wars I and II the downy filling went into life preservers and flight jackets. "I search for the realness, the real feeling of a subject, all the texture around it... I always want to see the third dimension of something... I want to come alive with the object."

~ Andrew Wyeth

"The soul of sweet delight can never be defiled."

~ William Blake
